Tour description
Arenal volcano is considered the most active and step volcano in Costa Rica since 1968 and one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Since 2012 is a dorment volcano without eruption activity.
Hiking trail:
In the hiking activity you can see the lush vegetation of the rainforest formed by epiphytes plants, bromeliads, orchids. Inside the trails you will safely explore primary and secondary rainforest. Some birds that you will see are: toucans, parrots, oropendolas, colorful tanagers and parakeets.
As well it is possible we can spot some mammals like monkeys, agoutis, pacas between others.

WILDLIFE SANCTUARY TOUR
For over 15 years our company has been supporting the Costa Rican Environmental Ministry’s mission to care for rescued wildlife either injured or confiscated from people holding them illegally.
We receive and care for the animals as pumas, ocelots, and margay felines you will find toucans, sloths, monkeys, coatimundis, Kinkajous, paca agoutis, coyotes, crocodiles, caimans, turtles, parrots, wild turkeys, owls and more!!!
Tour duration: 45 minutes
After the wildlife Sanctuary you will be able to relaxing into the health mineral pools from the Springs resort, surround of naturally gardens and heated Jacuzzis with temperatures range from 72 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit and with the perfect combination of high volume and mineral content.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
- Hiking Activity is not allowed for pregnant women or persons with heart problems, back problems or recent surgeries.
- Clients must leave a security deposit of US $50.00 per locker and US $20.00 per towel per person if require on the springs. This payment can be made in cash or by credit card. This deposit will be refunded once the client returns the locker key and the towel ticket when leaving the hot springs otherwise money are not refund.
- Childrens from 5 to 11 years old pay
- Minimim age to do hiking tour are 4 years old

Price rates are range from january 1st 2025 to December 15, 2026.
Start from $380 per person with minimum of 4 adults.
Children rate (5 to 11 years old): $220
Infants from 4 years old pay $160
Cancellation Policies
- All reservations must be prepay 15 days before the client’s arrival at the Thermal springs for the ordinary period that includes Regular Season
- If client cancel the tour 14 days in advance prior date of the tour money are not refund.

We send bank link payment method trough Tour Operator by email to prepay safe any activity. Payment balance be settled 3 day prior the session. (Only Visa and MasterCard are accepted).
