Arenal Volcano Private Reserve & Tabacon Hot Springs
Tour description
Arenal volcano is considered the most active and step volcano in Costa Rica since 1968 and one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Since 2012 is a dorment volcano without eruption activity.








In the hiking activity you can see the lush vegetation of the rainforest formed by epiphytes plants, bromeliads, orchids. Inside the trails you will safely explore primary and secondary rainforest. Some birds that you will see are: toucans, parrots, oropendolas, colorful tanagers and parakeets.
After the hiking activity you will be able to relaxing into the health mineral pools from the Tabacon Hot Springs, surround of naturally heated Jacuzzis.
IMPORTANT:
It is recommended to wear long pants, comfortable shoes to walk into the forest, insects repellent and sun block.
This activity is not allowed for pregnant women or persons with heart problems, back problems or recent surgeries.
What to Bring:
Long pants, extra clothes, water proof jacket, bathing suit, towel, hat, insect repellent, hiking shoes or sneakers, camera and binoculars.

Tour Pricing
These rates are valid from January 8, 2024 to March 22, 2024 and from April 1 to April 30, 2014.
Cancelation policy:
- Indicating date, number of people and names of clients. In the case of children, please indicate their age.
- We accept reservations of a maximum of 15 people for our day pass service. Groups are not reserved.
- Food not included (additional cost depending on consumption).
- At the time of check-in, it is essential to present the passport, identity card or residence card of each guest.
- All cancellations must be sent in writing.
- All day pass reservations must be guaranteed 15 days before the client’s arrival at the resort for the ordinary period that includes Regular Season.
- For the festive period that includes Christmas – New Year and Easter, the day indicated as the guarantee deadline in the confirmation must be guaranteed.
- Reservations made 8 days before the passengers’ arrival at the hotel or resort have a 24-hour period to make payment. Otherwise, they will be canceled without prior notice.
- For clients who use the resort, a security deposit of US $50.00 per locker and US $20.00 per towel per person (or the equivalent in colones) will be requested. This payment can be made in cash or by credit card. This deposit will be refunded once the client returns the locker key and the towel ticket when leaving the Resort.
