Rafting Tour(beginners):
This is a 3km journey that is completed in approximately 1 hour. The equipment used is safe, life vests and helmets are used and dependent on the river conditions a guide joins each client in a doki (inflatable boat). The categories we offer include class II and III rapids, depending on the weather conditions in the Rincón de La Vieja volcanic mountains.
Tour duration: 1 hour
Important Note: Children must be 5 years old or older.
Zip Line:
The zip line has a total of 8 cables and 11 platforms that travel from one end of the Colorado River canyon to the other, offering an impression view of the nature below. There are cables that vary in length from 150 to 360m long and 45m high.

Horseback Ride:
Cañón de La Vieja offers you the beautiful experience of a horseback ride across that Guanacaste prairie in the company of a true Sabanero cowboy.
You will be able to admire the beauty of the volcano and the view of its surroundings.
Tour duration is 45 minutes.

Pick up Time: 7:00am
Roundtrip transfer: 2 hours
Time to get back: 4:00pm
Departing from Liberia County beaches areas: Papagayo beaches areas (Hermosa beach, Panama beach, El Coco beach, Ocotal beach, Four seasons resort, Planet Hollywod, Riu Palace, Riu Guanacaste. Riu Guacaste etcetera ).
Pick up Time: 7:00am
Roundtrip transfer: 1 hour 45 minutes
Time to get back: 3:30pm
Tour Pricing
Price rates are range from january 1st 2025 to December 15, 2026.
Start from $205 per person with at minimum of 2 adults.
Children’s from 4 -10 years old pay: $160.
Cancellation Policies
- If client cancel the tour 48 hours in advance get 50% money refund.
- If client cancel the tour 24 hours in advance money are not refund.
