Guaitil is a small town that hosts one of Costa Rica’s most important centers of native ceramic handcrafts. For generations, the Chorotega tribe has passed down tried-and-true methods for producing its pottery and paintings. These involve local clays, natural dyes, and wood-burning ovens that create the “Chorotega”-style pottery.
After lunch we will visit The Beneficio Matambú home of the Diriá Coffee, where you can learn different processes of coffee production in the area and the treatment of solid and liquid wastes. They practice organic farming which is quite difficult but preserves their land for many more years than using chemicals. The day will not be complete without a taste of the exquisite Diriá Coffee.

Tour Pricing
Price rates are range from january 1st 2025 to December 31, 2025.
Start from $225 per person with at minimum of 2 adults.
Cancellation polities:
- If client cancel the tour 48 hours prior the date of activity are refund 50% of the total cost tour.
- If client cancel the tour less than 24 hours prior the date of activity money are not refund.
- Minimum of persons to operate this tour are: 2 persons adults.
- Price rates are range from january 1st 2025 to December 31, 2025.
