Curi-Cancha Private Reserve hiking trails
Is a relatively small preservation of 205 acres (83 hectares). It has about 3.25 miles (5.2 km) of trails that cut through a portion of the property. The reserve sits at some of the highest elevations in Monteverde, between 4,750 and 5,300 feet (1,450 and 1,615 meters).
About half of the land is primary forest and the other half is secondary forest. All combined, this diversity of habitats makes an excellent place for birding about 250 species of birds have been identified in the reserve as hummingbird, Sparrow, redstart, finch, toucans, resplendent quetzal, three wattled bellbird and others.
This tour generally last 1 and a half hour.

Coffee-Chocolate & Sugar Cane Tour
The tour begins with a short walk through the farm where you can get a glimpse of plantations as sugar cane, coffee, cocoa and more.
Enjoy the entire coffee process, the artisanal cocoa process and sugar cane traditional process and experience the process of making the traditional sugar cane candy, to finish delight yourself with a fragrant cup of coffee from our farm and a tradicional dish of picadillo de arracache.

Price rates are range from january 1st 2025 to December 15, 2026.
Start from $230 per person with minimum of 4 adults.
Children rate (5-12 years old): $170 per person
Cancellation Policies
- If client cancel the tour 48 hours prior the date of activity are refund 50% of the total cost tour.
- If client cancel the tour less than 24 hours prior the date of activity money are not refund.
