Tour description
Vandara is located on the outskirts of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano in the Guanacaste Province. We are between 400 and 1200 meters above sea level, bordering the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. We offer to our visitor’s extensive areas of private reserve forest that borders the forest of the national park.
After lunch we visit Diriá Coffee, learn the process organic farming coffee whitout chemicals. At the last try cold coffee make about ice cream, bisquets.
Canopy Tour or Zip Line
This canopy tour is comprised of 11 platforms of varying height. From your unique vantage point you will be able to see colorful landscapes swish by below you as you cross over the Tizate River.
Horseback Riding Tour
You will ride through lush trails rich with wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled and try to spot deer, armadillos, raccoons, anteaters and tropical birds. One you reach the top of the mountain your eyes will feat on breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Waterslide
Enjoy a refreshing experience sliding down through the longest mountain water slide; a quarter mile of pure adventure and excitement in the middle of the Tropical Forest.
Hot Springs & Mud Bath
If your muscles are tense and your mind is worried, we have the perfect solution! Indulge in a mineral rich volcanic mud bath or wade in the hot springs until your worries are nothing but a memory. You will be able to soak up all the beauty that surrounds Tizate river while soaking in a 47°C naturally heated pool.
Sugar Mill Demostration
The Sugar Mills are located near the sugar cane fields. It is here that the raw sugar is separated from the plant and hipped to a refinery.
First, the sugar cane stalks are washed and cut into shreds by rotating knives. Next, huge rollers press the juice out of the shredded pulp.
The juice becomes clear, rich brown syrup during this step. In this tour is available to taste a delicious cold drink of sugar cane syrup.

Price rates are range from january 1st 2025 to December 31, 2025.
Start from $245 per person with minimum of 2 adults.
Cancellation polities:
- If client cancel the tour 48 hours prior the date of activity are refund 50% of the total cost tour.
- If client cancel the tour less than 24 hours prior the date of activity money are not refund.
- Minimum of persons to operate this tour are: 2 persons adults.
- Children from 11 years old and up pay as adult rate.
